The LaBELLE FOUNDATION MURAL PROJECT:

Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome.

This whimsical mural pays tribute to two dozen of the more than 5,000 animals that have been rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed by The LaBelle Foundation since 2019. Each animal featured is based on a REAL LaBelle Alum.

A.R. Keiner’s 10’x 30’ mural at just north of Pico Blvd at 1300 South Genesee Ave is a community-funded project honoring the work of The LaBelle Foundation. Community partners including neighbors, students, local businesses and corporate sponsors chipped in supplies, money to compensate laborers, and many cups of coffee to make the mural come to fruition.

This mural is a partnership between The Furtorialist and The LaBelle Foundation. If you have any questions or concerns about the community-funded structure of the project, don’t hesitate to contact Head of Operations, Samantha Peraino, samantha@labellefoundation.org The LaBelle Foundation is always looking for direct donations, fosters, and volunteers.
